PEI FC Program Information

What is it?

The PEI FC Program is a soccer training and competition program that identifies and fosters players in the train to train stage of Long-Term Player Development. Players are selected from Member Clubs for U15 and U17 boys and girls teams. The teams compete at the performance stage and represent PEI Member Clubs in the Nova Scotia Soccer League and the Canada Soccer Club National Championships.

Why?

This program aligns to the Train to Train stage of Long-Term Player Development. It is a player centered program, meaning the player’s best interests for development are at the fore front.

It offers; year-round training, position specific training, and a four-corner approach (technical/tactical, physical, mental and social/emotional). The program aims to prepare players for varsity sport and open opportunities to professional and national team programs.

Who?

The program offers under 14, 15, 16 and under 17 players the opportunity to play for U15 and U17 PEI FC teams. This program is geared towards committed players seeking to improve their abilities in a performance environment. Players are expected to approach each session and game as a, competitive, learning and growth opportunity and to conduct themselves in a respectful manner.
