Jesse Assing selected as the new Technical Director for PEI Soccer

Jesse Assing has been appointed Technical Director with the Prince Edward Island Soccer Association. He brings extensive experience in player development and coaching across PEI, most recently as Technical Director with Stratford Soccer Club, supporting coach education, player pathways, and competitive programming. Jesse has coached provincial teams at Atlantics, the PEIFC U17 Boys nationally, and spent three seasons on the UPEI Panthers coaching staff. Before moving to PEI in 2021, he worked in Ontario as a Grassroots Age Group Director with North Toronto Soccer Club.

As a player, Jesse competed in both OUA and CCAA, winning an OUA title (2010) and a CCAA National Championship (2015), and played in League1 Ontario. Known for his commitment to long-term athlete development and coach mentorship, he is focused on strengthening development opportunities for players and coaches across the province.
